FAQ
How much seat time can one reasonably expect to get on any given race weekend?
A: WRL Races generally consist of two, 8 hour races on Saturday and Sunday with a practice and qualifying day on Friday. When four drivers are competing, each driver can expect roughly 5 hours of drive time of a weekend.
Is each driver guarenteed the same amount of drive time per race?
The short answer is no. The longer answer is that we make every attempt to give equal drive time to every driver. However, race strategy, such as yellow flags, will dictate exactly when driver changes occur. In the event that a driver is slightly shorted on Saturday, we will make very attempt to make up that time on Sunday's race.
What are the requirements to participate?
WRL requires that drivers be 16 years old at the time of the event. All drivers must be a WRL member in good standing, a racing license issued by FIA, IMSA, NASCAR, SCCA, NASA, BMWCCA, PCA, NARRA, or other approved organization, and all required gear of appropriate rating and age.
