Who are we?

Racer Motors is your opportunity to share a seat in a true prototype race car. Amateur race car drivers looking to transition from karting, formula cars, or sports cars can enjoy the chance to get behind the wheel of a prototype race car on tracks all over the country in the World Racing League.  This gives you the unique opportunity to get max seat time, on historic tracks, in a super competitive prototype car.  Interested?  Click the link below for additional information about what services we provide and to learn what a weekend racing with Racer Motors is like.

How much seat time can one reasonably expect to get on any given race weekend?

A: WRL Races generally consist of two, 8 hour races on Saturday and Sunday with a practice and qualifying day on Friday.  When four drivers are competing, each driver can expect roughly 5 hours of drive time of a weekend.

Is each driver guarenteed the same amount of drive time per race?

The short answer is no. The longer answer is that we make every attempt to give equal drive time to every driver. However, race strategy, such as yellow flags,  will dictate exactly when driver changes occur. In the event that a driver is slightly shorted on Saturday, we will make very attempt to make up that time on Sunday's race.

What are the requirements to participate?

WRL requires that drivers be 16 years old at the time of the event. All drivers must be a WRL member in good standing, a racing license issued by FIA, IMSA, NASCAR, SCCA, NASA, BMWCCA, PCA, NARRA, or other approved organization, and all required gear of appropriate rating and age. Are food and drinks provided?

Yes! Our wonderful hospitality team does an amazing job providing warm food, cold berages, and snacks both in the garage and trackside. Prior to the event, a team member will reach out to learn of any dietary restrictions or needs. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own drinks and food to the event as well.
